ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

If he does get the manager's job he'll be more Souness reign than Dalglish reign.

The feller just cant live without the oxygen of media exposure, just like Sewerness before him. Gerrard wants to be back in football over here for all the wrong reasons, imo.

No doubt his ego rules his head. All I can say really to sum up the guy. I don't fancy mentioning the Chelsea move and such as I may end up in the Mersey at some point missing a small detail, like my head.

Klopp doesn't lose semi-finals, so I fully expect them to beat Southampton.

Finals you say ? How many has he lost on the spin ? Rather see them lose to United at Wembley and finish 5th.

Looks a good bet now.

Them Losing in finals increases the enjoyment significantly but for me I want them out of every competition as soon as possible , just removes the risk . We've all seen them battered and snatch wins , not for me I want them gone .

I wouldn't even compare him to Souness, who for all his many faults at least took the time to get experience elsewhere. Slippy G would be more like Shearer as a manager.

Can't believe that the Kop chanted for Dalglish, an out of work retired deluded old fool, to manage their club in the Hodgson days and FSG actually indulged them. He slipped straight back into retirement afterwards too. I hope they're all chanting for Gerrard as soon as Klopp runs into problems.

I cant abide that sense of entitlement the ex-PL players have over managerial jobs. There's no thought of paying dues by dropping into the lower leagues for many of them. They feel that they're capable of knowing how to organise a PL club better than others because they've just played in it and understand the mentality...or something.

See Giggs,R as one example.

Agree. Given the level that they have played at, I would rather they took up refereeing, and got to the top flight, and brought their experience to bear on making correct decisions rather than teams and supporters suffering from garbage decisions every week from the likes of Mason...

They NEVER go out of competitions early though. They're nearly always in at least the quarter finals every season, they've just got this weird aura about them in cup competitions, makes it even stranger that they've only won 1 of them in the past decade considering how far they always get.

Gerrard as ref would be evil, he would reward every starjump.

Hoof FC.

Weird Aura is right, we rely on big teams to stop them, in our case we have a weird aura were we wait to knock ourselves out of every cup

'Everton that' is Latin for shooting yourself in the foot or in some cases boll*cks
