ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I realise this may appear to be something of a stupid question... But don't these RS with their sideways alternative view of the world realise just how inane and stupid things like this make them look ??

They attach such value and meaning to things that are devoid of value and utterly meaningless, it's nothing short of pitiful.

It's a desire to stay relevant which is fully supported by the media. They can't report them actually winning anything so they have all these non trophies that they've won in a desperate attempt to keep them in the conversation. Their team of 13/14 is fast becoming the greatest team never to win the league. Pellegrini, Aguero, Silva etc. Hardly get any credit for actually winning it and a league cup domestic double , Mourinho took a Chelsea team without a decent striker to third and a CL final, Arsenal ended the trophy drought with an FA Cup, all paled into insignificance next to Liverpool's top at Christmas for a day trophy, top at Easter if you don't count games in hand trophy, best football despite scoring less and conceding more trophy, and of course their actual league title wins against City and Norwich prior to the Chelsea game. They then even picked up the consolation prize of only team in history trying to score 10 trophy (even though they drew 3-3).

In 20 years time they'll all write about Man U this way, it's our job to make sure in 30 years time a whole generation of southern glory hunters are all writing this sort of drivel about Everton and claiming that their great grandad once visited Goodison donut was nothing to do with the huge amount of trophies we suddenly started winning.

The answer to your question is No.

Sad to see Ronnie Moran has died. Always seemed a good guy who wasn't caught up in all the cult nonsense, despite all the decades he spend with the RS. A good, solid, old school footy guy
Yeah from the old breed, sure he and Kendall got on really well

Ronnie Moran was the continuity behind their "Boot Room" from the days of Shankly and Paisley and then the gentleman that was Joe Fagin..... through to later days with Dalglish and Co. Always sorry to see one of the old school pass away. May He Rest In Peace.
