The Kenny Dogleash Stand.. I don't doubt he gave them 13 or so great years as a player and manager (plus of course his post-Hillsborough contribution) and is deserving of a great accolade.. but he was no Shankly or Paisley in terms of deserving the higher honour compared to those managers.
Should it not be That Ken..........is a homo.. (you know the rest)stand?

It's to soften up the fans for when FSG don't give Klooppy a transfer kitty.........

Another negative Everton article in the Red Echo goading us about it being 30 years since our last league title win.You could swear the mighty Reds haven't gone nearly 30 years without winning the league themselves. They should know more than anyone that the league isn't an easy prize to win after all the money they have spent since 1990 trying to win it.

24 years..
Oh, I don't know Luis' leaving, or where he's gonna go
I guess he's got his reasons but I just don't wanna know
After twenty-four years we've just p**sed it away at Palace
Twenty-four years just waitin' for a chance
To win the League Title - we'll never get a second glance
Now we've gotta get used to throwing it away at Palace

Palace, Palace, who the ...

What a game that was. Don't think I've ever been so happy about a result that didn't involve Everton. Brilliant

I don't think I've ever belly laughed at a football match like I did at that. Not even the slip, because after that I was still convinced we'd beat City and ruin it. But Crystanbul just capped the season nicely.

Agreed, just goes to show how a good Manager can get the most out of average players though. That's the reason why I'm slightly disappointed in what RK has done this season, we've got the Leagues highest scorer and a SQUAD, at the very least, on a par with them and we're still inferior to them. No doubt they will find it hard with the fixtures in the CL if they make it. But if Klopp can get that team into the top 4, I'm slightly worried what he can do when he starts adding some quality to it.
It's gonna be a massive ask for us to challenge top4 next season, Chelsea and Spurs will probably be up there and Man City and Utd will, surely, not be as bad. Then you have Arsenal (who prob won't have CL) and the RS. All will be spending quite heavily to add to teams that are already better than us.
you're forgetting that the first three or so months of the season were spent getting the squad up to fitness and weeding out the deadwood. If we had the squad we have now in August we'd probably have finished ten points higher. Our Nov/Dec period was absolutely shocking.

The first three months the team was among the top four, so I don't know what this "getting up to fitness" means. The start was a really good one. What happened in Nov/Dec is the fixtures got a lot harder...bar Spurs (at home) the fixtures were very kind for the first few months. After the hard spell came this seven match home winning streak...six of those were against lower half teams. The "squad we have now" has seen defeats against Spurs, RS and Chelsea. There hasn't been any change in this half of the season to the last, the team has continued (for the most part) to lose against better teams, and go on good runs against weaker teams. Seventh place is bang on where this team ranks. Aging defence that gets torn to pieces by movement, dodgy goalkeeper, very inexperienced youthful midfield, and a forward who bangs them in but doesn't compliment the others around him which has resulted in the lack of spread of goals.

4 wins and a draw v Spurs in the 1st 5 games? I think it's generally accepted, that after the 1st 3 or 4 games, the players are up to speed. Who takes 'three or so months' to get match fit anyway? Fitness wasn't an issue. So, no, I'm not forgetting.

Have we all seen the Corbyn and John McDonnell banner they will be unveiling tomorrow?

Weird carnts, aren't they?
