ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I don't know how old people are, but this RS team is one of the most average sides they've had. Usually they covered for it by having 1 or 2 world class players, but this team has none.

Agreed, just goes to show how a good Manager can get the most out of average players though. That's the reason why I'm slightly disappointed in what RK has done this season, we've got the Leagues highest scorer and a SQUAD, at the very least, on a par with them and we're still inferior to them. No doubt they will find it hard with the fixtures in the CL if they make it. But if Klopp can get that team into the top 4, I'm slightly worried what he can do when he starts adding some quality to it.
It's gonna be a massive ask for us to challenge top4 next season, Chelsea and Spurs will probably be up there and Man City and Utd will, surely, not be as bad. Then you have Arsenal (who prob won't have CL) and the RS. All will be spending quite heavily to add to teams that are already better than us.

The Kenny Dogleash Stand.. I don't doubt he gave them 13 or so great years as a player and manager (plus of course his post-Hillsborough contribution) and is deserving of a great accolade.. but he was no Shankly or Paisley in terms of deserving the higher honour compared to those managers.

Spot on. Big Stand FC have dishonoured their two best managers there. Shankly dragged them from the 19th century shanty town club they were to the big time. Dalglish was just a foil for Ian Rush and a mate of well known thugs.

...and soon as he left they started leaking goals.

It was a simple thing to rectify for the Boro board: they should have allowed a striker to come in during January and their problems would have been over.

Karanka is a good coach. He knows how to organise. He'll get a crack at a decent team very soon.

They "allowed" two strikers to be bought, and Karanka bought Gestede and Bamford, but it's ok you can keep ignoring that if you want.

I doubt many of the out of towners who who they fleece, have actually heard of either.

And Kenny will be there for photos and interviews so their PR machine can milk it for all that is with and a lot more.
You can almost see the pictures him on the verge of blubbing stood in front of the stand while they sing to him and hold up bits of paper with his face on.

I've got a bit of sick in my mouth now.

After the Suarez racist debacle, when the lovable reds all turned into lip reading translators and the team wore t-shirts in support, they should have named the kop after him - The King Kenny Kop, or KKK for short.

19th century shanty town club.lol Anyway it's hilarious that 4th place is the new holy grail for Liverpool FC.It's understandable really because most kopites realise that the owners are just happy enough to qualify for the Champions League.Winning the league is not a priority for them.Seriously i can see Liverpool going another 27 years without the league title.I predict that we will overtake them within 5 years and win our 10th league title before they win their 19th title.

Qualifying for a competition that they have won is their Holy grail? Mate I think you mean us, we have never played in the Champions League never mind won it. I'd be singing from the rooftops if we qualified for it.

Hopefully we're the opposition and we can join in with some songs of our own...

Perhaps even something witty about 10,000 bums for Kenny.

The Premiership is their Holy Grail. Their next challenge will be '18-'19 as they wont do that and Europe next season without reinforcements on a grand scale. Of course according to the deluded over at Waco, Walton Breck it is totally feasible.

Dalglish is a bit of a dichotomy really. He behaved with great dignity after Hillsborough. He went to all of the funerals, and it affected him really deeply, and was the beginning of the end of his managerial career.

That said, some of the people he associates with and his defence of Suarez makes you think of a different type of man entirely.
