ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Left a total mess. He was left the best goal scorer in the country. That's not a bad thing to have bequeathed to you.

As said, he's done well getting the stability back into the team. But he's bang average as a manger and certainly not the superstar his boss describes him as.

Klopp on the other hand IS a superstar manager, for want of a better term. He;s actually had a weaker squad than Koeman has had to work with (and certainly Mourinho and Guardiola have had to work with) and he's got - somehow - 69 points out of those turkeys so far to place them in the driving seat for 3rd or 4th.

He's plaited sawdust there. They'd be lucky to be 8th if Rodgers was still manager.

Imagine having the best goal scorer in the country and finishing 11th. Twice.

Doesn't bear thinking about.

What's Koeman done? Led us to victories over mediocre and rubbish outfits but been largely clueless against anything decent we come up against.

Has he stabilised the organisation after the cowards downed tools last season? Yes, emphatically so. Has he done anything of note? No, emphatically no.

We're back to the Moyes era with a bang.
Bit harsh that Dave, hes 90% into his first season What did Klopp do in his first?

Also there is this stat

Jurgen Klopp’s Premier League record with Liverpool is worse than David Moyes at Manchester United

And Koeman got us into europe in his first season.

I dont think it's harsh mate. I paid him full praise for getting a grip of the wastrels and steadying the ship. That's what he did...and that's all he did. He was utterly clueless against top teams apart from that City game and we went out the cups early and effectively ended the season on January 7th.

He's bang average for me.

As for klopp: his first season they reached two cup finals.

This is true but dont forget our two best players this season have possibly been Morgan Schneiderlin and Idrissa, both of who he bought in, fantastic buys, without them we would be no place near the top 6

How many he win? Get nowt for coming second

When did this place become the Liverpool FC appreciation society ?

Back on topic , the rs are crap and the fans are loons
I don't know how old people are, but this RS team is one of the most average sides they've had. Usually they covered for it by having 1 or 2 world class players, but this team has none.

don't you mean the Boro manager...oh no wait, that was January's 'Almost anybody is better than Koeman' candidate
...and soon as he left they started leaking goals.

It was a simple thing to rectify for the Boro board: they should have allowed a striker to come in during January and their problems would have been over.

Karanka is a good coach. He knows how to organise. He'll get a crack at a decent team very soon.
