ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

They got top 4. Well done. We need to do that next year. I don't really know what lessons we can learn from Liverpool except for hit the start of the season running and turn up against the better teams. I'm not sure what we can learn about intensity of playing style and managing injuries, as this I don't think they did too well.

gk: mignolet/joel
lb:baines
cb: williams matip
rb: coleman
cm: scheiderlin, gueye, davies
lw: llallama
rw: firmino
cf:lukaku

subs: karius (less of stek the better), barkley, sturridge, holgate, milner(various roles) mirrallas,

Mane?
Coutinho?

Otherwise spot on

Rubbish. Our squad is utter tripe. Coleman would get in but is injured, Lukaku would get in, maybe Schneiderlin, that's it. Our keepers are rubbish, CBs are old and slow their worst two midfielders walked all over our so called best ones. We haven't got any attackers who can touch Mane Coutinho Firmino Sturridge (when fit).
Did I say squad?

Outfield players to start:

Coleman
Holgate
Schneiderlin
Barkley
Gueye
Davies
Lukaku

I'd add Milner to that (just ahead of a career finished Baines) Coutinho and Lallana.

Manager: Klopp

You'd have Barkley ahead of Mane?

I'm sorry, but that is utter delusion. To suggest that Matip, Wijnaldum, Mane and Firmino wouldn't walk into our side is a joke.

Davies and Holgate, whilst promising, have proved nothing at this level. Barkley has been below par for a long time and we've barely seen Schneiderlein.

They finished above us and beat us home and away for a reason. They have better players than us. To suggest otherwise given the facts in front of us is ridiculous and with that attitude, we won't be improving anytime soon.

I thought you didn't rate Morgan?

They're not better players mate, they're coached better.

Never ever said that. I've always said he's a decent player. Not a world class player or £27M or whatver it was, but a decent talent. My point was that we had a full complement of midfielders in January and required reinforcement elsewhere...as was proven when the wheels fell off after Lukaku dried up toward the end of the season. We got away with injury to Lukaku too.

Maybe not world class but if he was available and good, I'm happy we got him when he was made available.

Forgot about mane, instead of the llama or firmino, genuinely wouldn't have coutinho although he'd be ok on the bench

For me he's one of the best players in the league, would absolutely love to see him or someone of his quality puling the strings for us next season. I know the lad has consistency issues but then a lot do in his role.
