We're only 7 points off 4th

I reckon they're going to keep saying the word "fourth" until it becomes mathematically impossible, and then in summer we'll listen to them rattle on about how they were still in the hunt for Champions League football until late April, but due to a bad penalty decision ended up 9th, 11 points off fourth.

At the moment I'd only say Johnson, Agger and Suarez are 'world class'.

Ah, refreshing, the 12th best team in England only has three world class players, such humility...

I laud FSG for wanting to succeed 'properly' with a balanced budget but the fact is we blew our best chance to bridge the gap when we shelled out £35m on Andy Carroll and then sent him out on loan without bringing in a replacement. Sad as it is, if you want success in this league you have to spend and spend big.

But the occasional sensible person:

We over rate out players, some on here will laugh at Bale, Cleverly, Parker etc... But I think we're far worse at over rating our own players than any other club around.

It's unfortunate because it's exactly what's made the LFC job a poison chalice.

We saw some realism at the start of the season, now the usual [Poor language removed] are back saying how Rodgers is mediocre, how he should be doing so much better, how we could easily finish top 4.

I'm sure the general response on here will be jibes at Rodger's, claims about FA corruption and incredibly bad luck though.
