Sturridge. World class.

Belt up ginger.

I might have his game all wrong, but I'd have thought they'd have gone for a more mobile player. I wonder - even if he were within their budget - whether Rodgers would have gone for this type of player at Swansea? I somehow doubt it.

I agree mate that's why with the failed deal in the summer I'm not too sure who's buying the player , FSG or the manager ?

Sturridge will only ever be happy at a club where he's the top man and the team's built around him. His ego demands it. I can see an epic falling out with bugs before long.

Ince is scoring lots of goals at Championship level, but, so did Ambrose and Whittingham.

Davek, what dya mean by mobile??? Sturridge or Mince.

they have told downing he can leave so will probably use the cash from him to go towards the deals and will have the caroll money in the summer when he ****s off aswell wish we had the cash BK needs to tap up green

I suppose that him being 23 he has sell on value (potentially). Plenty of other good young players out there though!!

Sturridge. I'm not an expert on his game or anything (we all know he can defo finish), but I'm not sure his movement in dragging players away for others to benefit is part of it. I can see Suarez being the workhorse in that partnership.

i remember we wanted Ince in the summer, is he now shiite cos the reds are gonna buy him?

It seems that way for some. For me, it's probably more of a perspective thing. We've not got as much money to splash about as that lot do plus he seems a bit of a comedown from the deluded shouts kopites usually come up with for who they might buy. The added fact that they're buying him back at about 10 times what they sold him for about 16 months ago also adds a bit of comedic value.

id of liked him at Goodison.

but they let him go less than 2 years ago and now they are paying over the odds for him. thats standard for Liverpooh.

He could be taught to do that, but youre right. Hes basically a direct player all about going for goal. Anything else hes severely lacking in a team game.

He's probably similar to Defoe.
