On the day that another RS fan disgraced himself by writing racist crap in the Echo you'd think maybe, just maybe, natural justice would prevail and they'd get slammed by Bayern. But you know... Satan's Agreement and all that jazz. 2 fleckin nil.

Who gives an actual 'f' mate, it's an utterly meaningless pre season friendly, remember when they hammered Dortmund about 4-0 in one, they ended up finishing 6th, sacking their manager with about +2 goal difference that season.
 
The commentator nailed it a few minutes ago, clearly Klopp works them really hard in preseason and they start off the season like a rocket but big question marks over how that approach can last over a season that has no xmas break; as evidenced by falling apart this January/February.

Yes plus add in the fact that they will be playing midweek Euro games as well next season.

They have a good attack but their defence is still dire.

The key to beating Pool is just sit deep with two banks of four. They can't break you down.
 

This is why you never judge a player that struggles at Chelsea. I expect Liverpool to compete in Champions League and struggle a bit in the league. Klopp's system is built to play against the big teams.

I wouldn't put money against Mourinho or Klopp tbh. Both managers are very capable of getting the results they need. I think Liverpool might be hurt by the lack of a recognized striker. Thank the gods they didn't acquire Aubameyang
