ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Precisely, if you defend in depth and cut out any space for their attackers to run into you just have to go all out at set pieces or on the break. He got found out like that at Dortmund, why the hell hasn't that happened here?

like i said last season, the poorer teams in the league know how to do it, but the managers at the top clubs are all toot arrogant and onbnoxious. Minus mourinho, how many years ago now did he put out that reserve team that beat them without alarm and stop them winning the title? The RS team has barely changes, almost identical philosophy of play, same strengths and same weakenesses.

But fools like wenger still go there trying to go toe to toe. Why won't any of them drop their pride to pick up an easy 3 points?

Because I honestly think these managers and clubs are so busy looking for this mythical "philosophy" which is so much better than anyone else's that they fail to see that if they are dynamic and play to each teams individual weaknesses they might pick up the 3 points.

Yep,likes of Burnley,WBA,Stoke have more chance against them then someone like Arsenal.Strange but true.Crystal Palace looked million times better and could steal win if Benteke hit that open goal then absymal Arsenal yesterday

So when they amassed 76 points to get a place in the top four they only played Arsenal and us did they? Honestly I know Klopp manages our most bitter rival but some of the assessment done on this forum is ludicrous. Yes he's a bit of a buffoon in interviews and acts like a weapon on the touchline but I know for a fact that you don't win two league titles and reach a champions league final simply playing "kick and rush". If he was still at Dortmund or a free agent when we sacked Bobby I can safely say that the majority of this forum would be desperate for us to get him in. He took a middle table club to Bundesliga champions in his third season, that's what we're desperate for isn't it?

Keita is type of player we should be going for, not the dross that Ronk has 'attracted'.

Saying that, Keita won't solve their defensive and goal keeper issues. Liverpool are terrible when they aren't playing open teams like Arsenal.

I think we just have to accept that if the tramp stays, they're going to enjoy themselves over the next few years. Hopefully we can win a trophy or two to take the sting out of it and make it bearable for us.

He has a clause for £48 million that kicks in next summer.

I don't know much about him except that he's a classic box to box midfielder type.

They have done a deal that Bayern seem to do with players in the Bundesliga, announce to the press they have signed him but for next summer.

He apparently last season had a heart issue, collapsed after a game.By having a medical which is weird when they are not signing right now to play for them,i'm guessing that medical was a heart check with cardiologists.

Think it was put down to not enough water/food before the match, as they did tons of tests and found nothing to worry about.
