Everton and Liverpool fans are always interested in how each other play and results etc. It's football rivalries, it's normal.
Over at rawk they like to pretend they don't care about Everton, Man Utd or Chelsea. But their 3 threads on us, Utd and Chelsea are extremely busy.

Obviously you watch much more football than others (that is not a criticism). Personally I rarely watch MOTD anymore. It's too top-6 focussed these days and the pundits are idiots. I suspect that blueloon was being somewhat tongue-in-cheek.

MotD has become mind-numbingly boring in terms of analysis and punditry, and inanely tedious as a outlet for Lineker and his cringy one-liners.
Media propaganda works though. My youngest told me earlier that every boy in his class supports Liverpool. How proud was I that he wore his KEANE 4 top to PE
