Ok, it's time for....

They have been brilliant but I really cannot remember city ever giving the ball away so much
The RS had the work rate and press to knock them out of their stride. No leadership or organisation in the defence and they capitulated. It’s a wake up call for city, that they could win the lot. Barca, Bayern, PSG and hopefully not the RS will expose that defence in Europe.

Sadly you need to hand it to the RS. They have an excellent manager who has established a great style of play and they have recruited well. They brought in players at a good age who still had room for improvement. Meanwhile we are signing the likes of Siggurdson, Schneids and Bolasie in their late twenties who are not going to improve and will have little resale value.

Today’s result aside they’re still far away from City, and unless they finally sort out their goalkeeper and defence they won’t win anything. Similarly though just as they’re miles away from city and the true European elite we are just as far away from them and Spurs, and even bloody Arsenal in the state they’re in. Quite simply last summer, we blew it and set ourselves back years. Last year we were at least “best of the rest” and looking up. This year we’re one of the worst sides in the league and not even close to being the 7th best. Miles behind on and off the field still.
