What train are getting back home?Big group of Liverpool fans going through Lime Street there singing “who’s that dying on the runway”
Such a loveable lot.
No idea which one the ****s doing the singing we’re going for (they were walking through station), but there was a huge crowd of scarves and shirts queueing for the London train that I was just getting off. What train are getting back home?
If they click they can beat anybody on their day. They have a new CB now and have plenty of funds for a new keeper in the summer. Our keeper is our only player who would get in their team. Their fans are being entertained every week whilst we are struggling to muster one shot on target
...then City and Chelsea and even United throw another quarter of a billion each at bringing world class players in...rinse and repeat each summer.
A trans pennine expressWhat train are getting back home?
They're in a good run. They ALWAYS have slumps.Consistent success will be difficult but if City struggle for some reason next season then they are as good as anyone else
Sometimes we’ve just got to pipe down because with posts like this it’s no wonder we get called ‘the bitters’ by them .It's results like this one that make their defeats away to the likes of Stoke and West Brom and Swansea all the more hilarious.
Cant wait.
Catch up in the summer how? Top players choose the top clubs, and more importantly top managers choose the top clubs. They have Klopp, we have Allardyce. They are getting Keita, we are after Walcott. We are not viewed as an appealing destination for the type of players and manager than can make the club catch up.Mate we all know we’re crap. Don’t need to compare us to that lot to make that apparent. Palace and West Ham are playing better football than us at the moment for gods sake. The issue is that it’s not enough for them to be “on their day”. Last season and definitely this one come May, the team winning the league will have amassed more than 90 points. The bar has been raised an incredible amount and they’re still some way off that standard. Like I said in my original post unfortunately for us we’re some way off their standard, and the time to catch up in the summer of 2017 was totally missed and in summar quite simply a wasted opportunity.
Comparisons with them right now on the pitch are a waste of time- until we get ourselves sorted off it we won’t be catching up to anyone.

they are playing well and have been for a while . They’ve just stopped a very good city team in there tracks . So yeah sometimes it’s better to say nothing . If the boot was on the other foot and we saw kopites making similar comments on rawk about us after we had had a big win we would be mocking them for it .Piped down because they win their inconsequential cup final against a real top club?
Ok.
Well in Liverpool, you win the East Lancs Cup 2017/18.
They alway have a purple patch knocking over real top clubs - they do it each season. They also fall on their arses against poor opposition each season.they are playing well and have been for a while . They’ve just stopped a very good city team in there tracks .
