Today’s result aside they’re still far away from City, and unless they finally sort out their goalkeeper and defence they won’t win anything. Similarly though just as they’re miles away from city and the true European elite we are just as far away from them and Spurs, and even bloody Arsenal in the state they’re in. Quite simply last summer, we blew it and set ourselves back years. Last year we were at least “best of the rest” and looking up. This year we’re one of the worst sides in the league and not even close to being the 7th best. Miles behind on and off the field still.

Yep.

It was the biggest calamity to hit this club for a generation. A complete dereliction of duty on behalf of the club management and officers and owners.

It was corporate negligence and I said last week the owner should have apologised for it and launched an investigation into the matter.

We wont fully recover from the Koeman horror story for a decade.

To add to that, it's actually been two consecutive summer transfer windows that have set us back a decade. And an owner who is such a fraud that he's probably going to set us back another decade on top of that by the time he's wrought his full damage.

Sadly that is partly because the people in charge can't see what is wrong and will do it all again this summer

If they click they can beat anybody on their day. They have a new CB now and have plenty of funds for a new keeper in the summer. Our keeper is our only player who would get in their team. Their fans are being entertained every week whilst we are struggling to muster one shot on target

...then City and Chelsea and even United throw another quarter of a billion each at bringing world class players in...rinse and repeat each summer.
