He really is an utter shambles of a human.
You're wrong. He is a character.

Also £75m on a defender, haven't kept a clean sheet in the 3 games since he came in and the two games he's played in have been against arguably the two most feeble of attacks this session.
Will take them to the next level apparently according to Jamie Redknapp (who decreed this before he even played a minute for him). Whereas the rest of the Kopite old crones claimed they’d stolen a march on Madrid Barca and Bayern by getting him. As if any of the real big clubs shop at Southampton. They’ll wait for stepping stone F.C. to polish him up for a bit and then will just name their price just like they did with Torres Alonso Mascherano Reina Arbeloa Meireles Benayoun Suarez Sterling and Coutinho. If ever they get a decent player he goes within a few seasons. We even kept want away Lukaku longer than they kept Luis I named my daughter after Anfield Suarez.
I can’t even see the big clubs coming in for Van Dijk. He always looked too erratic at Southampton and he’s carried on since (he was awful against us apart from that header). He’ll score a few corners though and grab a few headlines which is all that lot really care about.
Especially given how many quality black players United have in the side.I'm sorry, but when your club is under scrutiny yet again for one of your players invoiced in a racial dispute. And you have one of your youth team crying out for support on the same matter and you decide to toe out the bullshit line that you'll "do everything you can to communicate", it's a bit rich to then snub the harmless gesture of wearing a black armband in respect of possibly the most well respected figure to tackle racism within Britain.
Think it's utterly disgusting and they again should be hounded. Every week goes by and you start to worry how Rhian brewster is feeling. He's at the worst club in the world expecting support imo.
This does apply to united as well. I would love to know their reasons for the snub. The two biggest brands in the league globally, they should be setting an example.

I wonder if the Echo will have a follow up after lfc's Cyrille Regis snub. I fully expect the Premier league to step in and issue a statement.

Liverpool will wear black armbands at Swansea on Monday night in tribute to Cyrille Regis, the Premier League have confirmed.
West Brom legend Regis died from a heart attack on Sunday less than a month before his 60th birthday.
Regis, who scored 112 goals in 297 games for the Baggies, helped inspire a generation of black footballers during his time at West Brom alongside Laurie Cunningham and Brendan Batson.
Regis would go on to become just the third black player to ever play for England, winning five caps before his retirement.

Why Cyrille Regis will always have a place in history at Anfield
Liverpool travel to the Liberty Stadium on the back of an 18-game unbeaten run which stretches back to October".
The bit about 'Why Cyrille Regis will always have a place in history at Anfield' is the most galling self importance. Let's hope the Echo from Anfield and the Premier league hold them to account.
I always get the feeling though that Carragher is jealous of any praise heaped on Liverpool CBs. He feels he has to protect his own legacy there, such as it is.Cba to find the clip, but a few months ago the rs has conceded a couple from set pieces on sky and Carralar and Redknapp were doing their analysis.
Redknapp was insistent that if(when) they sign Van Dijk, Liverpool wouldn’t concede this type of goal. Carra ripped him to shreds and said ‘it doesn’t matter how good your centre half is, if they’re set up wrong in the first place it won’t change’. Redknapp couldn’t get his head round it, but last night was case in point.
He might make fewer individual errors than whichever centre back he replaces, but it’s the system which sets them up to fail against teams that don’t come out and try free flowing football.
In all fairness if you want to be technical about it Ryan Giggs brother Shagged and married Ryan Giggs mistressPerhaps I am ignorant on this subject but maybe people can help me out here. Why does English football attract players from the lowest class, based on their behavior? You have players like Adam Johnson, who is a convicted pedophile. You have players like Wilshere, who had 2 kids by the age of 19. You have players like Ched Evans. You have players like John Terry, who is a racist. You have players like Giggs, who shagged his brother's girl. You have players like Rooney, cheating on his wife. Now, you have Jon Flanagan, the woman beater. The list is endless.
You would rarely find athletes of this nature in America, playing professional NBA, NFL, NHL or athletes from other European nations like Germany. So why does English football attract so much of this?
