Must be difficult when you have imagined rivalries with so many teams. They didn’t want City to win because of der new money lad ruining tradition, but that leaves it open for Mourinho to win giving him more trophies in 2 seasons than Liverpool have won in the last 12 years, but the only team who can probably stop them is Chelsea and we all know how Liverpool still have a special rivalry with them (despite not competing with them for anything for the last decade). Last of all Spurs could win it but as if the kopites want Pochettino taking the trophy for the football hipster praised most by the media cup as well as an actual trophy whilst Klopp ends up empty handed again.

Gone next January at the latest to a big club....that's if he actually sustains this form and it isn't just a flash in the pan and he gets found out and how to be relatively easily neutralised.
I look at Salah and struggle to understand how defenders fail to contain him. He doesn't have quick feet and exceptional balance like, say, a Hazard, he's just quick and can use his physique to hold off a player or brush past them and get a shot off.
Anyway, either way, he wont be a force for Liverpool over the long term.

Depending on who comes in and at what place, one of Salah and Firmino to go would be my strategy if I was in charge over there. Highly unlikely both, unless obscene offers were received and the spin was on Keita and AN Other as dual replacements. Which is good from a business sense, even if it is potentially quite a risky strategy.
Firmino will want to go play with the big boys like Coutinho, and Salah is just super hot property at the moment and a dip in form would see his value plummet.

Yeah, if it was any other team you’d look at that side and say apart from 2 players they’re completely average yet given their propensity for drawing the weakest teams with the second leg at home you can’t count them out of anything. The one saving grace might be that Klopp hasn’t won any game of note for ages losing his last 5 finals and the league cup semi. On a neutral ground against top class opponents hopefully they’ll go out then it really will be squeaky bum time for Klopp if he hasn’t nailed down top 4.
