ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I enjoy the Bundesliga. The atmosphere sounds special and the standard of play in certain positions like GK and CBs is up there. But the PL will be a harsh environment for Keita. There's no way a player can be all those things you describe here. Someone like Pogba cant be the influence he was in Italy in this league, for example, and he is a way bigger talent than Keita.

I guess will will just have to wait and see of course!

Keita will have not so many issues with the harshness or pace of the premier league, that would be the least of my concerns for him.

He looks obvious to me - lacking anything that I could see would make him stand out here (because that's what the point being made is here: not just fitting in but providing an upgrade on Can).

Klopp’s got absolute crap like Henderson Milner Wijnaldum and Can looking decent. I’m sure he can probably get a tube out of Keita.

The issue for them will remain squad depth. They’ve had to play the same front three every game and have been lucky that they’ve not incurred any injuries. If they don’t get a world class forward to rotate with next season and one is missing for any length of time their season will unravel. No matter how much he makes them run like dogs Lallana Oxlade Chamberlain Ings and Solanke are utter pap.

Can is a number 6 isnt he, maybe in the prem he plays a slightly different role? I always see him as a number 6 first and foremost. So I am not sure if he is the replacment for Can. They are very different. I would have though they would replace Can with a more 'number 6' type player in the summer.

As I say, we will just have to see! And I guess we will agree to disagree on him for now. And nothing wrong with that!

He's developed into a player who plays that controlling midfield role to one with more freedom to get up the pitch and offer a goal threat. I think that's something he himself has commented on.

In any case, I meant Keita will be taking up a vacant midfield position with Can's probable departure.

How many times has he been sent off, the only time I hear about him is when he’s had a red card.
Seems like a snidey little runt who needs putting in the stands within the first 5 minutes of every game.

I believe he has had 2 red cards since coming to RB Leipzig, one of them a straight red I think.

I wouldn't say anybody else is as fast, like I said he is unique. He dribbles the ball like a little number 10 rather than an 8 or a 6.

The player I would compare him to the most is Dembele, from Spurs, but their dribbling technique is completely different. The point is they both look to move the ball forward as quickly as possible. Keita is miles better defensively though.

Vidal is a good comparison when he was in his prime and Pogba can also play that role albeit through size and strength rather than agility.

If you're expecting him to be as good as Vidal you might be disappointed. Just saying.

Think Keita is a coup for them to be honest. Can see him thriving in the Prem because he's brave with the ball and if they keep hold of the front three he's going to be finding all kinds of space. Hoping they don't go and buy Alisson and Jorginho as well but it seems better sides than they are want them both as well.
