Have I missed the full page report on this in the Echo ? I remember them ,rightly ,running some pretty extensive reporting about a bloke who wore a t-shirt mocking Hillsborough not to mention that Chelsea fan who made mention of scousers in a rant losing his job .
Give all that I’m expecting the Echo to vilify all of the rats involved in this . I suppose it depends if they get two mins break from telling us how out of character it is and what a good lad Carra is .

You're never going to get the whole fanbase represented on one thing though. But it's not just a minority who do this kind of stuff I.e. Munich. It follows them everywhere because of how bitter they are.
It's not the same people at old Trafford, Liverpool pubs, the nightclub at a stop knife crime event and at the spirit of shankley award.
It can't be the same "small" minority. Our club would absolutely condemn anything like that. Their club doesn't give one. If they did they wouldn't be happy with a racially abused victim to be called a liar all game. I can't think of any other club who'd even come close to this behaviour.
It runs much deeper than that mate, if you look at any of Holgates recent Instagram posts, there’s Kopites all over the comments giving him abuse, a number of it actual racism as well.

The Echo are a Kopite fanzine. As far as I can make out their football writers use it as a springboard to prove themselves trustworthy to Kopites - those who wish to go onto write for national journals about Liverpool FC. There's a production line at the Echo churning these pliant, cult-friendly characters out one after the other - McNulty, Hunter, King, O'Keefe, Bascombe - who are employed by the nationals because they know they're in safe hands with them in terms of not upsetting Murder Incorporated and bringing down a Jihad on their heads.
That, as I see it, is the football arm of the Echo's chief function.
There's definitely been Hillsborough chants. Solomon Grundy from RAWK swore he heard them, and even made fake accounts on here to tell us. What more evidence do you need than the words of a lying sack of diarrhoea?

What I don't get about singing songs about Munich, is that they hurt the rs and their image and cast them in a very very poor light. So even if you are spitting mad with United for putting you to the sword yet again, surely self-preservation should kick in to not sing them even if being a decent human being not mocking the death of 23 people isn't reason enough.
