No mate I don't. Not been to Anfield or Goodison since the 90's. Was always a bit spicy going to Anfield and Goodison in the late 70's-early 80's I thought. Although I go to Etihad home games, very rare I manage any aways through work and family commitments nowadays, and I don't have enough loyalty points to get a ticket for Anfield.

Have you got access to a Norwegian passport?

Like I said previously, I've had a nosey on RAWK and judging by some of the comments on there they harking back to their 'good old days' when they thought it commonplace to intimidate rival clubs team and fans coaches in welcoming them to Anfield malarkey.

I don't doubt some of them did it, it's just that some of those back then were in their teens and 20's, now they will be late 40's-mid 50's.

Surely not gonna turn up and embarrass all the decent folk with their sad and sorry ways.

Are they?

Didn't they do the same to you guys that year where gerrard slipped over and handed you the title? Their fans can say "one fan", "keyboard warrior" and all that crap all they like but it wasn't just one fan rocking the ambulance with Alan Smith in. It wasn't just one fan booing Evra the other week for being a victim of racial abuse. It wasn't one fan who murdered juventus fans.

I could go on. Its a cesspit.

Haha, just as many go to Old Trafford. That said, I was drinking in a pub post game earlier in the season and got talking to 4 Norwegian City supporters and a Swede. I soon found out they were old school and been following the club many years. I asked them why Cityband one said he liked the underdog, so chose us. Another said he watched us win the 76 Leahue cup final and was impressed by Denis Tueart's overhead kick goal. The other two gave some quirky reason I forgot. Swedish lad was about 28 and he said his mates were all united and Liverpool and he wanted to be different.

I suppose the more successful we become, the more tourists we'll attract. It's vgeyying like that now where long standing fans are being priced out. I can't see myself going in a few seasons as I don't enjoy it as much nowadays.

Everything is so sanitised now. We have tourists more interested in taking selfies to upload them to Facebook, and the club aren't bothered at the demise of atmosphere, as tourists go to the club shop and buy all the tat that Tony(club shop) Pullis would wear.

It's not like Maine road, even thoufg the football is on a totally different level. I think all fans of a certain age miss their old grounds. West Ham will not take to their new stadium for ateast 10 years, probably never as it's dreadful, and not designed for football. Cherish Goodison while you can, Nothing ever lasts forever, as The Bunnymen sang.

Talksport literally blowing their load all over Liverpool at the moment.

End of the day, if they’re that good why don’t they win anything? I’ve heard so much about how Salah, VVD, Firminho and Coutinho (before he left) are some of the best players in the league (if not the world) but they haven’t done a Leicester/Monaco/BMG/Dortmund and they can’t compete with the really big boys so they’re just not that good are they? And then if their players interest the big boys they just sell them on straight away.

People need to calm down.

I didn't mind Liverpool fans one time, they never really bothered us as their obsession was with the rags in chest thumping Tarzan like rivalry. We never bothered Liverpoool United or any other clubs as we wasn't a threat. Nowadays, many just tarnish us a plastics with "winning the lottery" and a lot worse. I find this insulting. It's like all those years of seeing my team winning F all were worthless, when football means a lot more than just winning, and worse expecting to win in an entitled my d##k is bigger than yours type way.. I should imagine you lot get as much stick off them as we do from the rags. What P!sses me off is those out of town TV popcorn munching know all's that have a Sky season card, with no idea what it is like to see them live facing a several hundred mile round trip whilst getting spanked off a team you should be beating. Been there and got more T-shirts of this than many would ever of thought.

Back to my point.

Liverpool united Arsenal and Spurs amongst several Other clubs seem to think we never existed pre 2008 takeover. Liverpool are now suddenly banging on on about their entitled Istree as if we've never won any pots n pans.

Talking of history, City won 3 different trophies before liverpool.

FA cup. City first won it in 1903/4.
Liverpool first won it in 1964/65

League cup. Ciry first won it in *1969/70
Liverpool first won it 1980/81

Our first and only European trophy (cup winners cup) was won in 1969/70.
Liverpool won the UEFA in 1972/73.

*Domestic and Cup winners cup that season.

I also know that Everton won the League and FA cup before Liverpool. And you also won the cup winners cup in mid 80's which was your most successful period in modern history. Surprised that you've not won the League cup though.

Sorry for harping on when you are tryna watch telly or whatever. ImI probably just a Saddo;)

Rant over, and breathe.......

They're bitter, massively massively bitter. We get labelled it by then but in reality it's the most ironic tag in football. To sum it up, they can't actually congratulate any other team with any other success. It's beyond them.

They still believe we threw that last game vs you because we hated them that much. The stories they come up with are utterly insane, just lies upon lies lies.

Anyway, well done on your win, I don't get drawn into the plastic rubbish, it's better than watching united win the league every year in the 90s.

They are the best team in the land, forget that they're 3rd in the table (would have been 4th if Spurs had played a PL game this weekend) and 18 points off the leaders....all circumstantial evidence that obscures the fact that Liverpool are number 1.

This lot aren't even as good as Rodgers' bottlers.

It’s just getting silly now though, I heard them called a “great” team earlier. Great? That Barcelona team from 2009 to about 2012 was great, won everything and revolutionised how the game was played for the next few years.

Liverpool are currently a one man team (again) who are going to win absolutey nothing but are apparently “great”. This is why the Premier League under all its money and so called marketability is an absolute joke.

It's the next in a long line of pats on the head for certain Liverpool teams of the last three decades. The funny thing is that they fall for it every time and expect the PL title to fall into their hands again at long last.

It's just the media throwing them a bone. It's what they do for Liverpool to compensate them for being also rans.

It was only about 10 years ago I discovered you really hate each other. I'm not sure it's as bad as Manchester on Derby Day when it always kicks off somewhere in the city and surrounding towns. Many pubs won't open. Sorry been so naive but I just thought it was fairly friendly rivalry between EFC LFC supporters.

An ex girlfriend lived near Arrowe park hospital on the Wirral, all staunch Evertonions, good people.
