Right lads, meet in the Brick (won't be open) and march to the ground 3 hrs before kick off, with flags waving, blue pyro, song sheets at the ready and wait and to ambush their bus.I think most of us will still be in bed.

So you’re saying I can stay in the boozer with the lads , have a laugh and a couple more pints. Or I could march up to the ground , Threw cans, hold flares up and shout at a coach with a load of blerts .

Tough call .

"The incident is the latest chapter in what is an increasing rivalry between the clubs. When the teams met close to the conclusion of the 2013-14 season the City bus was attacked by bottles and stones on the way out of Anfield following a 3-2 defeat many thought had handed Liverpool the title. "

more like anyone successful RS are supremely jealous of and lash out creating a perceived rivalry...but its a one way thing, not sure sure city feel anything for them except fear for what they will do next!

smashing up coaches isn't rivalry!

I’ve just posted in an other thread , I’ve just seen the new bbc video . It’s completely unacceptable, the police and Liverpool have a lot more to answer to than West Ham did .

Indeed.

Some of our friends on here are asking what the big deal was on Wednesday night and saying it brings no shame to anyone but the Kopites themselves but there you have it right there.

That footage is being shown right around the world and the accompanying dialogue from within the coach does not differentiate between Red and Blue, Liverpool FC and the city of Liverpool.

It is the whole city and every one living it it that are being traduced.

GOT word of the week right there

No arguments with what Klopp just said in his presser tbf.

Jurgen Klopp faced questions about the attack on Manchester City's team bus before attention turned to the Merseyside derby:

"It’s so strange. You go with your own bus through the crowd and it feels fantastic and it’s great. It’s support, it’s passion.

"We come into the stadium and the first thing I heard was they had smashed the bus of Manchester City and it kills everything.

"You can’t feel it anymore. You give everyone the opportunity to do something good and because of a few idiots it might never happen again."

This should be the LFC motto. The biggest number of ‘few idioys’ than any other club in history. Funny how on the videos there’s 100s of people not batting an eye lid st ‘a few idiots’ smashing up the Man City bus.

It’s like somebody saying “ I always found that shipman a thoroughly decent GP personally, always friendly and approachable and never a problem with getting a prescription or a note” . That might be true as regards that individual but just because they didn’t see it the bloke in question would still be a monster .

They also smashed fan coach windows that game. One elderly City supporter was almost blinded when the window exploded by a house brick. "It's never their fault" though!

Fortunately most stadiums are safe for opposition fans to attend nowadays, and especially safe for women and children unlike the 70's and early 80's when hooliganism was rife . We at City have a minority of idiots as every club does, but opposition fans can drink safely in most of our pubs near the stadium, providing they are well behaved of course. Idiots looking for trouble will always find it.

Rivalry is one thing, but whay happened Wednesday night was pre planned thuggery, and UEFA LFC and Merseyside police should do all they can to make sure it doesn't happen again. Fortunately no one was seriously injured or killed by the ''coach welcome' pyro-maniacs!

Damage limitation... though he has the usual RS 'in denial mode' regards the numbers of them involved. Theres playing things down...then theres smoke and mirrors.

I work with a few Kopites and some of them are ok but apart from one lad they've found the incident funny, I'm shocked, I really am. It was pure hatred and just yards away from the Hillsborough memorial they're all so sad about. They're a breed of their own and do not reflect the Blue half. Like you say everyone has their own small element and if you want it you'll get it but this was just beyond anything I have seen in England and they 're proud of it. The funny thing is they think were all bitter they just don't see it. Hope City give em a lesson on the pitch, imagine the reaction if that happens. Good luck.

At most only one of those three will do anything and that will just be a PR exercise by Uefa. The club and the police got exactly what they wanted and exactly what they planned for.
