I have no problem with Liverpool fans getting behind their team pumping up the volume. I'm gracious in being beaten by a better team, we deserved nothing and were well beaten.

I just don't understand the mentality of the idiots who 'support' LFC in this way.

I work away and whenever I speak to anyone I always put across that I’m blue, how sad is that, the fact that I have to make it clear I don’t want associating with that lot.
I know I don’t have too but something inside cringes when my home city is mentioned.

At no stage was that incident deemed to be a reflection on anyone other than one lone idiot.

Unlike the other night when, as we hear from the people on the coach itself, the whole city is being tarred with the same brush.

There is no similarity between what happened at Goodison versus Lyon and the ambush on the City bus.

The latter had been planned, openly and publicly, for weeks in advance.

And it beggars belief that an Evertonian would try to link the two incidents.

Why are you such a kopite apologist? We all called that fella a blert of the highest order when he did that, he acted alone and in the heat of the moment. The incident that we are discussing here was pre planned and carried out by more than a few idiots.

UEFA waiting until after the competition is over isn't necessarily a bad thing. If the police find evidence that this was a planned ambush of the Manchester City coach and there was premeditated thoughts to vandalise the bus (shouldn't be too hard to find, just check twitter) the RS could be looking at a stadium ban next season.

This also means that Liverpool fans have to be on their absolute best behaviour for the remainder of this competition. Any repeat behaviour of their fans in the semis home leg or if their fans go abroad to Spain, Germany or the final in Kyiv and smash the place up then the club will be in very serious trouble. UEFA tend to stack up charges when dealing with a club.

And the good thing about this is their fans are the absolute scum of the earth, they'll almost certainly get in trouble one way or another.
