ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Tom, 14, from Philadelphia crying. He cannot understand how we think they're always the victim.
Whilst I like laughing at the Kopite mugs, it’s a bit cringeworthy taking the pee out of a club for having fans from all over the world. It’s what defines a big club in modern football.

Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man Utd, Bayern Munich and Liverpool have fans from all over the world and it only benefits them as a club.

What reception was that? Did Efc actually have representation of any kind there? Unbelievable. .. What was the Everton involvement? To say "Soz abaar dat...?"

There is previous on here about it in the past... peace trips etc. You've commented in reply to me there and my post has a link to the Echo article. #98050

The self proclaimed bestest team in the league can't even beat the worst Everton side we've had in years hahaha. ... sniff it you beauts
That is one way of looking at it, and I know they didn't have Salah or Firmino, but they DID have Mane, Milner and a keeper who isn't completely useless.

Ah yes. Still mystified that any one of an EFC leaning went along with it and gave any sort of "support" to the "Peace trips". Personally I'd be telling them to fook right off.....

Wonder how this went down with the cult members who played the incident down. They'll probably say ole Bascombe misinterpreted Herr Klopp's English deliberately.

Jurgen Klopp says he feels ashamed and embarrassed by the ugly scenes which marred his side’s Champions League win over Manchester City.

Far from triumphant after a positive week on the pitch for his side, the Liverpool manager was in a solemn mood because of what occurred off it, his usual exuberance sapped by the footage he has seen since Wednesday evening.

He branded as “idiots” those responsible and said the greeting of the team bus would be banned in future if the decision was his. “I feel really embarrassed, ashamed,” he said. “I cannot understand how you give this opportunity to the people to create something wonderful like this usually is. It was already on the edge with the flares which are not legal, but it is nice and special.

“But the people do not understand the rules and if I was to make the decision I’d say it is not allowed any more. It is not possible. You had the chance, didn’t use it, sorry.”

Gary Birtles was speaking in a book about how the attitude of Liverpool fans, changes towards Forest after they beat them in europe.Apparently after that all sorts of stuff, would get thrown at Forest fans when they went to Anfield.Bricks bottles darts etc.

A few days before that league game, when Liverpool ended Forests unbeaten 42 game run. Some Forest players who weren't fit to play the match, went to a Liverpool nightclub.Apparently the owner of the nightclub went into a panic when he saw them, and rushed them out the back exit. You guys don't realise, how much you are disliked around here said the owner. There will be chaos if people recognize you.

Honestly after what happened to Dortmund's coach the other year, I would've thought that UEFA, Clubs and Police wouldn't let that ever happen.

Cue Man City fans doing the same or worse and UEFA coming down on them with both barrels and THEM getting a fine of £9k

Now I understand why my Forest-supporting mate hates them.

Manchester police are monitoring social media for signs of any coachbgatherings, have increased resources, and have warned fans they will disperse any gatherings of fans by the coach entrances - how to police properly in comparison to the LFC police force.
