ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

The sooner you lot realize they're winning it the better it'll be. I've already accepted it and don't give a toss really. I'll avoid any and all football related matters for a few weeks and there will be the World Cup and then getting ready for the new season, etc. I'll avoid any and all games in the CL next season so I don't have to hear "Liverpool" and "Champions of Europe" in the same sentence time after time after time.

Their jamminess and luck has been unreal. Everything, and I mean everything is aligning for them. They go and Porto roll over 5-0 for them after not losing at home for ages. They then blitz a City side at Anfield with suicidal tactics from Pep even though he knew exactly what to expect, and in the return leg should have been 2-0 down by halftime but weren't thanks to - you guessed it - a refereeing decision in their favor. They then rode their luck some more and eventually turned it around. Roma rolled over at Anfield as well and only started playing when the score was 5-0. Di Francesco went one better than Pep and played a high line with suicidal tactics but waited to alter it until they were 5-0 down. The return leg is not even worth mentioning.

I can't wait for the final where Zidane, whom I consider to be a tactically astute manager, plays a suicidal high line against Salah and their attackers and scratches his head as they're 4-0 down by half time as if he had no idea what was coming. Can't wait for Ronaldo to probably have the worst game of his career as well. Real will then score 2 or 3 before time simply runs out.

I've seen the '05 comparisons and the only thing that's basically left to happen or hasn't happened yet is the death of the pope. Everything is falling for them in every possible way and they've had their name on the trophy for weeks now.

2 lads I work with have booked a 2 night stay in Liverpool for the celebrations. .... the thought they might not win hasn't even entered their thick skulls
It's £150pp for the night at the Campanile? on the Sunday homecoming.

Haha imagine what they'll have to do if they don't win. I bet they'll only pack RS clothes so they'd have to walk around a city full of blues laughing at them. I hope you laugh at them throughout the whole world cup up until next season.

And if anyone thinks the outcome of the game depends on what davek says, stop being silly, he doesn't work for UEFA.

Have you come out as a rs yet mate, or are you still covert? I honestly can't keep up with you all.
I'm going with rs
Malfosse - I am a "RS" yet lol. Not covert and not pretending to be an Evertonian or Manc lol. Was just pointing out that for the decisions that went against Roma in the tie (and there were deffo a few), some went for them also, which everyone on this site seems to not have noticed.

Mate he's so far in the closet Mr tumnas is taking him to the white witch as we speak, hopefully Asian will rip the blurts throat out, sad kopite rats....
Pretty sure I've previously said I'm a Liverpool fan. No posts of mine on here attempting to portray myself as anything else, I don't think.

You'd think they'd have learned their lesson with all the triumphalism stuff.

I sense this time though its just bravado. They know in their heart of hearts they haven''t got what it takes to beat City over two games.
Never said anything that hasn't come true aye.

And this one.
That was my opinion not prediction. If you look at when that draw was made I clearly stated that Liverpool had a chance to win the tie because they had a great record over City.

I underline: the only firm prediction I made on their CL run was that when they come across one of the heads of state: Barca, Bayern or Madrid, they'd go out for sure.

Did you have to use the ‘English Translation’ option before publishing, Sven?
Lol - I'm a welsh Liverpool fan whose granddad (passed away) was a red Scouser. There's a few on here that could do with using the 'English Translation' option to differentiate between "their", "they're" and "there".....
