Well now comes the horrible build up.

My phone has been exploding with "you said our heads were falling off last summer" and "tide is turning" texts from RS acquaintances as well as some particularly cutting "memes" I believe they're called. I even made a few bets in relation to league positions which I'll have to fork out for over the next few days.

What a miserable Monday. Even the sun overlooking the Retail park isn't cheering me up.

Real madrid should win it. Liverpool have 3 midfielders and 3 forwards to choose from, there starting line up is already there on show for all to see and so is their tactics. Go gung ho for the first 30 mins and then sit back, getting for tired for the last 20 mins.

The danger is Madrid getting shocked in the first half and being 3 or more down. Second half Madrid’s bench and style of football is so superior that what happened against City and Roma will probably happen again, Liverpool blowing out their arse just trying to hang on punting it up to Firmino and Salah to try and get one on the break.

If Madrid can just ride the inevitable early storm or god forbid actually score first they could then win it in the second half. They have a better first 11 and a better bench. There is only one tactical way for Liverpool to win it (which is how they beat City and Roma). If Zidane can guard against that then Madrid would be favourites to come through.

LFC could cut the Touting at an instant if they wanted.. they could do a few checks, ask for id from someone going through the gate (without consequences in the first instance) for example.. etc etc.

(it's not that we always go the game with our ticket (say 1 or 2 times a season you'll give it to a mate) but effectively you can judge from sampling a few hundred on a matchday how many people are using a ticket that belongs to them.. and, armed with this information they could easily remove many season ticket holders and get the waiting list down (for new people to tout the tickets!!) and continue to do this. Once they put the thing in motion they'd find that the stadium was full of genuine fans who want to go to the game and not clowns who pay some spiv a grand for 90 minutes of football and a night in the Shanks (toilet) Hotel.

The terms and conditions will state it is for your use and therefore they are within their rights to cancel it (when they find that it is never used by the owner).

Does it really count though? When you take all the pace goals and tap ins into consideration he’s probaly only scored about 6/7 proper goals. Can any experts adjudicate on this?
