Electronic music thread

Coredata is absolutely my favorite producer at the moment.
Read an interview with him on trancefix.nl and it turns out he's a college music teacher from London as a day job.

Love the fact he's out teaching young people music theory in the day and making pyschedelic acid trance in the evening! :D

i'm addicted to a track called Someone I Know - Morning Rhapsody but can't find it online anywhere (i got it on cd). Heavy deep psychedelic trance, avant-garde with it too.

So in lieu of that, here's some dramatic hard trance from the peak-era, recently bagged on vinyl. As per a comment I saw elsewhere: This song feels like the end of the world. Perfect for when the aliens blow up the skyscrapers:

For the DnB heads & wax-lovers. really enjoying DnB from late-90's/early-00's on vinyl. Sounds so upfront, so in-yer-face. 3 particular favourites:

Original is much better imo. Pendulum version just sounds plastic and over produced whereas original sounds raw and gritty.

Original is much better. Pendulum just took the original, got rid of the grit/breaks and turned it into horrible over produced plastic sounding wank

The original's bloody great too, darker more relentless. I love a lot of Ed/Opt's stuff. But here I prefer Pendulum's more musical journey. Pendulum are easy to dismiss as they really do have a lot of plastic-sounding wank, the Hold Your Colour album is deffo over-produced with sounds that get tiring after a couple minutes, thereafter their more commercial efforts just sound unlistenable to my ears. But I can ignore all that and just enjoy this Bacteria remix and the original brilliant Vault track.

Quite fancy finding these on vinyl, baulking at the prices tho'...The Nine might be doable:

In defense of Pendulum, there was nothing like them at the time. It sounds overly polished and overproduced in retrospect, but I remember when this remix came out and a lot of people in the DnB scene were losing their minds to this.
Along with some of the other stuff they were putting out, there was a genuine feeling that they were a step above at the time.
