No but if he does well they will surely talk, he has no future at City so will be sold in the summer. Can’t see any talk of an agreed fee at the end of the deal?
Do we jump straight into the deep end and pair him with Keane? He's a left footer, he could either play left back, or we swap to 3 at the back and he's on the left of that back 3.
He's big strong and fast, I like him
2014; "In a tetchy game of six bookings, defender Eliaquim Mangala was fortunate to escape with just a yellow card on his return from suspension after an ugly high kick on Samuel Eto'o left Everton's Cameroon forward writhing in agony."
Mangala is rash and impulsive, in other words an absolute liability. Two of his fouls in this game deserved a red card.
He has not been able to claim a regular first team place at City - they have still had to go out and buy Otamendi and Stones.
Any chance he'll be shoved in at LB?
Funes back in full training mate.Reading comments from City fans, they see him as a good no nonsense defender who will suit Allardyce and was just not good enough on the ball for Guardiola.
Williams is a liability, RFM still injured and Jags struggling, think he’s a good signing!
City are run away leaders of the league to be fair.
Mangala was very highly rated a few years back. He is deffo worth taking a chance on as he has all the attributes needed.
For all of our ragging on him, Martina hasn't actually been that bad. I don't know if a centre half wedged into a LB position would do any better than a RB doing the same
