Can’t judge him until he’s playing in a full strength team, you can compare him to Rondon etc then.
Dobbin looked quite quick chasing down defenders, I hope we get to see both.
If DCL is back in Jan, I’d like to see one out on loan.

I suspect he was out there following Benitez's instructions to a tee, one of which I partly suspect was to not commit to any challenges and stay disciplined. Hopefully many more appearances for him to follow if so.
At the game I found myself surprised at how he lost pretty much every aerial dual, but in retrospect up against thiago silva and rudiger, no shame in that on debut.
Would love to see more of him, but I suspect a loan would be of greater benefit for the second half of the season.

I think that's a part of his game the youth and u23 coaches have always felt he needed to work on. That said, his hold up play was better than I've seen it - probably something he improved at Blackpool.

I don’t think he is a target man player. I was impressed a how much panic he caused in the Chelsea defence. He ran down every ball and caused problems with his pace. I thought it was a really good debut.

he did his job, nothing spectacular but his brief from the FSW was probably quite simple, and he did OK. He had a tough job whatever his instructions were and he wasn't found wanting,

No easy baptism and he did just fine.

Think we will see more of him next few games, covid permitting.
