His movement is telegraphed to defenders and they have no trouble marking him out of games.
You have to ask just how bad the Everton academy is if it cant churn oiut better than Simms.

I remember when he started against Chelsea away last season in a tough game and he was ok and I would say he has improved his game since then. It boils down to if he is better than Rondon which I think is pretty obvious he is then the squad is better than it was before. Obviously if he is the only foward addition in the window it will be a worry so hopefully we have others lined up.

It;ll be this idiotic decsision to bring back a cart horse like Simms + a loan deal for a player another club wants shut of desperately.
