I was going to reply to your thread mate but I thought you were somebody elseElstone on the one occasion I had the opportunity to see him in action at a presentation at Hull University impressed me mightily with his portrayal of our club. He illustrated things about our involvement in the community and afterwards I was proud of the job he was doing in showing us in a positive manner.
Then in an instant my feelings did a complete about turn. I waited my turn in the lounge afterwards to speak to him, as soon as he saw I was not an academic, or somebody of substance he didn't give me time of day. Silly maybe but you know what they say about first impressions. He's a self centred arsehole.
For Super League supremo apparently.
Reckon the BP chief will take over? Or Dein. Either id be made up. Glad he's gone. Bill next.
In the charities sector. That's patently untrue...DBB has always been a high flyer with a good rep in her own right. Actually, she's a much higher grade of exec than Elstone, but good luck to him at the Super League. DBB broke through the glass ceiling ages ago.
Mega high risk to get rid of the CEO, Chair, Manager and Director of Football in a single quarter of the year! Can't see it at all.
