Why? I thought it was quite a simple question, as your hatred for Liverpool is so strong and all-encompassing it should be an easy one to answer to be honest.
I’ve told you, I don’t want any RS to win anything. Your questioning is like asking me to choose between cancer or aids - I don’t want to choose either.

Just say that the reason you don’t want England to win is because you’ve seen loads of scousers on Twitter saying they hate England and you want to fit in with them.
I’m not a scouser and have zero ambition to be a scouser.

I do not subscribe to the patriotism of the national football team. I spend all season willing 99% of the players to lose - I’m not going to change my mind when they pull on an England shirt.

Not just this current crop, but wrong’uns like Rio Ferdinand, John Terry, Sterling, Wayne Rooney, Jordan Henderson. You want to see them win? Behave.

@evertondotcom here’s a non made up scenario for you. Were you happy when England beat Netherlands in the Euros? Because there were no Liverpool players in the England team but there were two in the Dutch side.
Hand on heart, I didn’t watch it. I watched the final though.

I’ve said, international football doesn’t excite me in the slightest. When I was a kid I loved France 98’ and watching the Brazilian team. Since I got into actually domestic football any spark I had about international games has gone.

Maybe that’s because of the players. Maybe it’s because of the fans who follow international football. Maybe it’s because of pointless, redundant matches such as “nations league” football. I’m not sure.

My wife told me Grealish had scored for England the other day and I had no idea they were playing.

You are doing football wrong

Lighten up, if a team is playing that directly affects Everton as a team, of course I would want them to lose but willing single team (apart from one) to lose is not how you follow the game of football.

I feel much the same way about Everton.

Football, huh?
