I really hope he drops Pickford and whoever comes in has mare. It would be pure justice for all the rubbish that’s been aimed at him through the years.

There’s some truly odd picks in this squad.

I can’t fathom why Henderson is in there, even while being charitable. Same for a 32 year old getting his first call up in defence in place of a bone fide future England captain in Branthwaite.

Could imagine certain players might have been added for their personalities or leadership qualities. The Euros were a bit of a debacle and it looked like the spirit of the squad had tanked a little bit. Maybe that's why some of the older players have been added.

Hilarious that Branthwaite isn't included and some of them names are, thought Tuchel was better than that. He obviously wants players who have been playing towards the top end of the table regardless of quality.

3 keepers would make sense. Trafford as future no1, ramsdale/pope etc in case anything happens to pickford....
