England November a Friendlies vs Chile and Germany

Don't see where Lallana and Rodriguez fit into the side. They havent got pace, aren't attacking wingers, don't play off a player like Rooney well.

Very good technically, but don't they have more of a free role for Southampton rather than just being stuck on the wings?

Wilshire and Lampard have been poor too.

Blaming Baines is Andymodo Townsend's modus operandi. I would never tire of punching him in the face. I don't want Baines anywhere near London FC. Don't care if they win or lose. Once upon a time the best players got to play for England. Now the likes of Milner are regulars and he is just about mid-table Prem standard. Is Lampard actually playing? Why do I ask that virtually every time he plays for England?

Well that's it.

People forgetting the fact its a new team, playing together for the 1st time, new midfield, defence and attack. So it looks disjointed. But your Lampard's, Milners, and Rooney's aren't particularally organising much.

This surely has to be Lampards farewell match? I don't think he was that great for England in his prime, really don't get how he gets selected these days

But yet you're still watching it.

AND

Why don't you want Everton players fulfilling their careers to the maximum?

Is there a petition I can sign somewhere to have Andy Townsend barred from working in sport?

Anyway, I can understand every other team in the world being technically more proficient on the ball than England, but Chile also seem to be better at long ball too.

Also - Jay Rodriguez is the white Magaye Gueye.

Baines and Jagileka = fodder England turn to for qualifying games in far flung places the superstars dont want to go to. They'll be warming the bench in Brazil.

Isn't Baines playing at Wembley. He'll be playing if he signs for that ginger tosser. The press will demand it.

There's a law that says you can just stab him

Milner is horrible.

He does everything averagely.

Which is better than being crap. But nowhere near being good.
I can't for the life of me understand why he plays Milner in a friendly. Everyone knows exactly what he has to offer. Which as you say is solid mediocrity.

I suppose that's exactly what the national team have based their, err, success on to be fair.

That's it. Hodgson is clearly far to rigid tactically to be able to get the best out of this type of player imo.
