If he can't realise the obvious line up of Gk, 4 people at back (don't care who), Barry def mid, Lennon right, joe cole right, lampard mid, gerrard just off Rooney (if fit) he really is a tool.

Just seems simple but he can't see it.

Yet another disappointing performance from England, how Heskey and Carragher made the squad god only knows. The players didn't pull together in the slightest, and Gerrard was, again, stuck on the left wing. England needs to try a new formation, a 4-5-1 or 4-3-3 needs to be tried, with two out and out wingers with Gerrard playing off Rooney.

That performance basically confirmed what I said in this post in the 'How do you solve a problem like England' thread. Simply, it was a poor performance, and leaves England in a difficult position where they now have to win their next game, and if the performance is anything like that one we just witnessed, then England are going to go the same way as the French.
