We control our destiny. It has to be no doubt a win now. Rooney needs to sit if he is injuried and come on late if need be. A pairing of Defoe & Crouch wouldn't be out of the question. Joe Cole has to get a game doesn't he?
 
And can somebody tell me why Lennon in the first half was playing centremid......... oh rooney was out wide .......ok then who's up front ?????? heskey the striker who can't score ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
where was the shape, where was the discipline, where was the controlling the game, we should of scared the crap out of these lot
 

They miss a decent playmaker in the centre, shall we say like Arteta!!!

As for the game, very, very poor. Rooney, Heskey and Lennon were rubbish so thats the forward line gone for a burton. All three should have come off and let Crouch, Wright-Phillips and Defoe be the main men.

Can anyone tell me why does Cappello insist on playing Heskey, the man is useless.

All of England should have guaranteed Algeria to win.. Maybe would have the same effect on Algeria as it does on England..

It's all set up for England and the USA to qualify. I think the USA will win the group.

Yes, I agree a change in personnel. Perhaps Joe Cole starting and Gerrard playing in the hole behind Rooney.
 
Why do we have to put up with this same old rubbish. This is , near enough, the same squad that failed four years ago and failed to qualify for Euro 2008. We need a manager with the guts to stand up to the FA and the media and pick the squad that HE wants.
