you can tell by the way his head moves that he's doing it to avoid being hit in the face. the slo-motion replays have done him no favours. i ccan't see how they can say 100% that he's done it intentionally. that's complete guesswork and with it the game is finished. buttler ahead of ali again - what are they doing?

Great bit of keeping, big Nev would have been proud. His head was well out of the way of the ball when he stuck his hand out. Anyway, 3rd umpire agrees so that's all that matters.

whilst looking at slow mo replays yes. play it at full speed and it's a pretty standard reaction if someone is throwing a ball at possibly 90 miles an hour at your head. complete guesswork from the umpires and they would have been better off with siding on the caution of doubt. if the throw was low at the base of the stumps like someone competent would have done then yes.
