i would say we have just about got the upper hand here. we really need to make this count tho. turning it into a win will be vital from here.. if the aussies get a draw or win from here it would be would give them lots of momentum for the series.

Tomorrow morning's session could define the remainder of the Test match. Oz could be 350 all out or something like 360-7 with more to come after lunch.

The bloke isn't anywhere near the same animal in English conditions. Unless we bat absolutely terrible for the entirety of the series I wouldn't put any money on him even reaching 15 wickets.

Starc possibly carrying an injury which if true could be a massive problem for Australia.

I won't lie to you. That lolypop moment has me feeling the same about the Ashes as Everton's August last season. Deflated, and as people say in here, NEA.
I have been saying it for months though, Australia's Dad's Army is there for the taking.

Deflated ? Oh shut up. We are 2 days into a long series! Australia have every chance of winning it even if they were to lose this test.

As I said in the OP it was always going to be close. Let's see what the Aussies are made of.
