The good problem with this scenario is that if Ali keeps on contributing at 8 then they will hesitate to move him up but we all know that he will be more effective higher up.

I like warney, but yeah been mentioning ali has had a lot of luck everytime he gets a run, its that sort of pitch, there isn't gonna be a chanceless inning, and you're right cooks bad luck was more decisive, he looked well set for a big one

same. i think they'll get off with a good opening partnership 40 or 50-0 i can see. it's only the second day, they just need to leave everything off the stumps.

i think i'd take a chase of 180 ha - 250+ may be challenging but with the amount of time left that'd still be very gettable. that requires them to score 400 mind.
