i don't think this is the brightest team in history though. they do this every match vs spinners it seems. average spinner after average spinner as well. aussies wouldn't need 4 bowlers if they had warne playing in the last 5 or 6 years - he would have got more wickets than murali!

Absolutely, should be looking at a 200 lead at least if they don't do anything stupid. They tried from day one in cardiff to knock lyons out of the attack the way the aussies did to kerrigan a couple of years ago, but although lyons is no shane warne, he's no mug.

Bit annoyed with Bell but not going to be negative now as this has been a great day for England. Weather is set fair so just sensible batting now noo risks needed. One or two biggish partnerships in the morning and the Aussies will have to go defence. Good day with the bat required.

Unfortunately, people will always try and belittle others. The amount of abuse bell got for losing his wicket even though he did what was asked and got runs when no others could yesterday says that giving an opinion is free of cost and intelligence.
