Rooney with 3 assists, people still booing. Who needs Shagger Terry and Lamps?
 

England were superb tonight. Bulgaria are no mugs and with a inexperienced backline they were quality. Glen Johnson lacks the class for international level to be honest, but there is nobody else. Other than that it was a great performance.

To those who hate England, you can go **** yourself! 4-0 !!!!!!!

Joe Hart looked frighteningly good. Hyperbole maybe but that kid's got "all time great" written all over him IMO.
 

Well done Jags. I only bothered watching 'cos he played - looked solid and it certainly helped with Hart in goal giving the back 4 some confidence.

Bin off Terry and Ferdinand I say, let them go on celebrity wife swop.........

To be fair though Bulgaria are a good side - could there be more Ov's?

But apart from Glen Johnson and Theo Walcott - England played very well and looked dangerous. Jermaine Defoe is probably the closest player England have to a prolific striker - so to see him score 3 is excellent.

There not really though mate, we had them in our group the last time and finished well ahead of them and we're not the best, i beleive Berba and a few others retired since then.

England have a long way to go to be the team they should be.

You know i often think its a bad thing England are often seeded doesnt do them any favours.

Well maybe. I thought though they knocked the ball around quite well, probably be England's toughest opponents.

Big lessons have been learned though I feel.

Do you not think its slightly Ground hog dayish mate, this is the start of the slow build up, when someone on talksport will ask the question in two years time - will England win the Euros? The country goes into hype over load and the players bottle it. Surely you see this.

Well it's kind of the same with all under achievers, and also teams like Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Same questions been asked since the 80s.
