England vs. USA ... will be one of the best of the tournament

I'd rate Spain and Brazil over England and they didn't quite "walk it" over the USA in the Confederations Cup.

I think England will nick it but it'll be a tougher match than most English citizens expect. I think many of them are still operating under the wrong assumption that this is the USA of 2002 or 2006.

It isn't.
 
I just hope Bradley puts an attacking squad out there. There's no sense in playing 5 in the midfield and leaving Altidore up top by himself. This US squad isn't good enough defensively to "pack it in" imo.
 

I will say that in recent World Cups, the USA was glad to be there but I don't think they really believed in themselves maybe as much as they could have.

After their performance in last year's Confederations Cup, I really think that this team isn't over-awed by any team and feels that they can play with ANYONE.

Whether or not they execute is a different story but I think that they expect to win every match they play.
 
I love the US, but think that they have a huge road to climb in order to beat England. They have to get Davies back, which is really questionable, and Goocch. That being said, they have to play on the top of their game, which they can, but will they? My biggest problem with the USMNT is that they can win one game that they are not expected to do, and then lose a game that they were thought to win. England is a better team, and should go though in 1st. The rest is a question.

Don't remind me. The only team they've managed to beat is your hated rival, FC Dallas in a US Open cup qualifier I think it was. Awfull start to the season.
