Transfer Rumour Ernest Nuamah

He's gone to the MLS cos he's finished, i'd honestly rather have jacob murphy.
So do I...but newcastle would not contemplating selling one of their starters. I know almiron was linked to mls, but unsure if it was a done deal. Sure there are plenty of options available with more experience even if it's in the championship. Now maybe nuamah will hit the ground running, and will turn out a fantastic signing, but too many unknowns. We need certainty at this point that any player coming will help us get more wins.

Newcastle would want a big fee, and spending big fee’s on 29 year old players has to be a thing of the past. We need to be making signings like this and flipping them down the line.

I'm just not anti- signing from abroad, the best ran clubs in the pl do it, why can't we? Why sign Almiron when he’s exactly the type of player we’re trying to move away from—a very average has-been who’s past his prime.

A quick look on the lyon forum and their fans don't like the player at all. Very critical, some say that they don't even know how he has become a professional footballer. Very concerning comments that...I can see another lindstrøm with no end product, difference is this one is going to cost us money.

Lyon fans don't seem too happy to be losing Nuamah, seems he has a lot of potential.
So which is it then? Is he crap or not? Not that I trust the French that much 😂

People advocating for more of the same are mad, Almiron is utter turd, no pl club will touch him for the 10m + 60k p/w he wants.

Last PL player we bought was Maupay right? What PL right winger would you buy who would realistically join us? Antony? Recruitment was poor under Moshiri 90% of the time, that was when we bought from the pl and abroad. Under a manager with the tactical awareness of a potato it's hard for most players to shine unless they're undeniably talented like Ndiaye or Branthwaite. We’re trying to move away from this high-contract approach we’ve followed in the past 9 years which ultimately left us in a total mess.

Harrison was overall poor last season, had a handful of good games, the derby especially, but overall he was dreadful, somehow he's been even worse this season.
Gettable / Loanable right sided attackers for me that would be credible would be: Almiron, Madueke, Solly March, Encisco (more central but can play right)

I also quite like Facundo Buonanotte
