Euro Semi finals - ENG V NL; SPA v FRA

Yup.

You need luck - they've had buckets of it - but sometimes it's just your time.

Spain have played all the football and beaten Italy, Germany, and France. England have had a soft draw, been savaged by their own press and fans, and have muddled through with some iffy refereeing and some inspired moments of quality.

It's all on 90 minutes now. The key is to be in the final. They have more than a puncher's chance against a team that will be hot favourites and under pressure to ensure those great wins against the other big powers were not in vain.

Yamal in tears on Sunday night. It's written.

Either that or 3-0 Spain.
I'd go with 3-0 for Spain as well. BTW, I noticed you stood alone when Neville, Wright and Pougatch were celebrating the goal in the ITV studio.

More like the big teams in England's half of the draw felt it better to not win their groups to avoid facing England in the knockout rounds before the final. Or, something like that. 🤔
Other major sides won their groups - Spain, for example - and they had to go through Germany and France. England have been steeped.

Germany and France couldn’t win their groups and didn’t show anything more than the likes of Switzerland in this tournament.

They played France because France didn't win their group. That's not England's fault. What is wrong with you? Stuck record, rings a bell.

Germany won their group.

They did. My point remains though - they were very much an also-ran despite being on home soil. That side of the draw looked harder because of the names involved, not because of the actual quality of the teams.

What are you on about, Captain Britain?

I am merely pointing out that other teams won their groups like England and ended up with a more difficult route to the final. It's not rocket science to point out that England have had a handier route than other group winners or Spain.

My God. England get a bit of success and some seem to demand total fealty to the notion they are a great side. They're a lucky side with a sprinkling of quality and a very good attitude. In the current circumstances, that can take you to the final...
