Euro Semi finals - ENG V NL; SPA v FRA

Bastian Schweinsteiger was getting giddy at half time and said that if England play like that they've every chance of beating Spain

That deluded rs blert on bbc breakfast northwest bulletin this morning screaming
"Trent to play the final and england win" after we had our best performance of the competition with him warming the bench.🤔🤔🤔

All this talk about luck of the draw. Last night England came up against a team that actually plays football for the first time this tournament and outplayed them. If England had been in the "harder" side of the draw, they would've just outplayed everyone on their way to Berlin and everyone would be raving about them now.
England is like Tyson Fury. Awful against lesser opposition, great against good opposition.

Usyk bopped him all over the show, the referee kept him off dream street. A paper champion of sorts, his notable wins vs a non boxer named Wilder.
This England side are reminding me of that Germany side of 96. Do just enough to get by. Nothing fancy or frilly.

Surprised he give that penalty but can see why he’s given it. It’s a free kick anywhere else on the pitch

The arguments of “Kane kicked his foot” & the “defender has every right to go for it” are absolutely comical though.

Dumfries has jumped into win a ball, studs showing, missed the ball & connected with the centre forwards foot. It’s absolutely irrelevant what his “rights” are when you don’t win the ball.

I thought it was harsh too but this argument does make me laugh. Kane kicked the actual football, the thing you’re supposed to kick. If Dumfries had got there first everyone would be saying he won the ball, so didn’t Kane win the ball?

Kane kicked the football, on the half volley, that requires him to follow through with that motion..

But it was him to kicked the bottom of Dumfries’ boots who’d jumped in to win the tackle? Gotcha
