Expand, I am intrigued.

I don't think this Belgian side is particularly great to be honest. They were better a few years back with a fully firing Hazard, a defence that was not ancient and had Kompany available and being able to chuck Fellaini on when needed.

This team is very mixed, De Bruyne and Lukaku are obviously boss, got some really average players in the squad/team too though.

For years the Belgian football fans, media and players are talking about the 'supposed' arrogance of the Dutch. If we do have a good selection of players, we're normally not shy to express that opinion. They hate us for that. Always in our shadow and an inferiority complex that goes back for years. Now that they have that supposed to be golden generation, they keep giving it the big one. Having digs at our country and players at every opportunity.

They might be getting older but Witsel, Mertens, the other Hazard, Alderweireld and I'm sure others are still mainstays in good sides. It's a talented team. Right there with France and Portugal for me.

Obviously they are still good. But watching this game and indeed the tournament so far I don't think its that much of a stretch to say that their starting 11 is not as strong as Italys, or at least of a similar level. Italy seem to be a really good "team". Everyone knows their role.
