Euro2020 Knock Out Rounds

Lukaku is responsible for both the SF defeat in the WC and this QF defeat. Just as he was responsible for our SF defeat against United.

The lad bottles big games. It really is as simple as that.

I'm usually the first person to hop on the anti Lukaku train, but this wasn't on him. Belgium were beaten in every part of the pitch. That young lad on the left looked like the only Belgian player who was psychologically engaged in the task of trying to win

As said: Peak Belgium was 3 years ago.

They had their chances though and Lukaku fluffed his lines - again.

just for context: -

England - ranked 4th in the World
Spain - ranked 6th in the World
Italy - ranked 7th in the World
Denmark - ranked 10th in the World
Ukraine - ranked 24th in the World
Czech Republic - ranked 40th in the World

we are the best team left in the competition now
Yes, it is there on a plate for you. Time for your players to seize the moment. As an Irishman, it pains me to say it, but it's coming home this time. I like a lot of these English players and the manager is a very decent person who got his tactics spot on against Germany. I would be pleased for these guys to win - especially as they are despised and booed by the section of knuckledraggers that "support" them. The question is whether they can handle what is genuine expectation now. My feeling for this England is that if it is not to be now, I can't see when it ever could be. This is the most favourable set of circumstances imaginable, a quarter final with Ukraine, two home matches, and no European superpower at the top of their curve right now. It's coming home now...or it probably never will.

Doku, yeah he was the only one prepared to take his man on and try something positive. I was impressed with him.

Those donkeys aren't winning it.

But you see the brass neck cheek of calling a team like Belgium over rated when you have a midden of a football team?

We have a crap team and have been crap for all but about 18 months of my life. We funny enough dont expect to win tournaments lol

Belgium have gone into 2 tournaments ranked 1 in the world and lost the big game. They have some top players but they arent a top team. For a number 1 ranked side they are underachieving.

Let's see how the Crusaders get on when the tournament isn't handing them home advantage.

Sweet Caroline. 'kin bellends.
