Euro2020 Knock Out Rounds

He’s on the verge (knock on wood) of a second consecutive semi final, and has just become the first England manager to win a knockout game against the Germans in what, 55yrs?

Maybe he’s earned a little trust?

The strategy is flat-out wrong, unless the idea is to practice the strategy to beat Italy.

The problem with trying to win 1-0 is that it introduces variance. If you have a couple of Keystone Kops moments at the back, you lose 2-1.

The Spanish pulled it off, but the Spanish also had an utterly absurd back four, Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets denying the opponent the ball and Casillas at the top of his game in goal. You don't.

We seem to be relying on moments of quality rather than creating a few good chances by quality football.

Totally boring tbh

That Spanish time took a lot out of it by keeping the ball for 70% of the game too. That's an element England don't have.

For saying all people should be treated the same? Nothing extreme in that.
If you completely ignore the context of the comments, then no there’s not. But context matters.

And “don’t make a political theatre” out of issues that frequently require a political solution is just plain dumb.

I've made my peace with him. It's basically people not being happy as it's boring football even if gets to a final.

It's getting results.
