FWIW, as a neutral, I think this England is quite likable. Very good team spirit, play some good football.
A far cry from having problematic types like Terry, Gerrard, Cole, Lampard, Rooney, and Hart in the squad

Still, England have been cheated out of wins over the years (Poor Sol Campbell had it happen to him twice) so I just saw it as the universe redressing the balance

Maradonna not getting a respective ban for 86 was the moment the football authorities lost any and all right to legislate on this sort of thing and the players recognised it. If he got banned for the rest of the tournament then it may have been stamped it out then and there, but he didn't and when you can allow something like that at a World Cup then it's all over

I didn't ignore the rest. There can be contact and a dive but I still don't believe he dived. In the box there aren't only two consequences of someone going down: dive or foul.

What we're terrible at diving. United get more pens in a week than we get in a season. That's not bias. It's Rashford, Fernandes et al being great at football and us telling Richarlison to get on with it.

I just want us to get better.
