And if you are an internationalist, why do you hate England? Surely you would not care? You would want the best team to win, but you repeatedly supported any team they faced. I guarantee that if they win tomorrow, it will be, and you perm can any of these; "tainted", "given to them", "home advantage", "by cheating".

An internationalist would not do that. Less savoury folk do.

Because I live here and the media will drive me mad with their jingoistic BS for months if they manage to win this trophy.

Hopefully Italy can stop that happening. I'm sure they can.

I will happily agree with you re the media; I understand it, but it too, does my nut a bit. I am sure it is the exact same in any country though.

But I wont let that annoyance spoil my admiration for a triffic bunch of footballers representing my country so well. If they win, magic. If they lose, congrats to Italy.

The best 2 teams in the tournament will contest the final.

He's found a blend and a way of playing. They look teak tough at the minute with a strong mentality I haven't seen in an England team before. Italy will have to score a couple at least to get the job done.
