I make Italy the favourites today. The EU will be desperate to see the Italians win so you can imagine a few phone calls have been made. It’s pretty much England vs the other home nations and the rest of Europe so the Italians will be inspired by that, and their centurion spirit, with the knowledge that Mars is on their side. England don’t have that and all the pressure is on England and we know how that goes. I’ll be utterly shocked if England lifted the trophy.
 

As a non-Englander, I want Italy to win, but fair play, congrats to England for making it to the final. Overall in this tournament arguably the two best, and most consistent, teams in the competition have made it through to the final, so no complaints there.

Just wish this Euro's could have been kept in one or two host countries. In the middle of a pandemic spreading the competition from literally one end of Europe to the other makes absolutely no sense at all, let alone the fairness of some teams racking up the air miles whilst being expected to play games every four or five days.

They then went from pillar to post, flattered to deceive save 2 moments, (neither were built on).

But this lot? Young, most been in the England system since boys, ego free, (seemingly), on a clear development plan. They are difficult to dislike as a team/group.

If it wasn't for the English media and the Ingerlund biffs draped in cross of St. George get-ups, this current English national football team might even be approaching likeable status.

But then I remember Jordan Henderson still plays for them.
 
The media are going nauseatingly tribal. Its a game of football, we're not going to war. We have the tools to win the game, so just let them.
