You can take nothing from any England win. Nothing. It's nothing to do with you. Your team is Everton.

How do I celebrate if Everton win a trophy though Dave? I genuinely don’t know, what do people do? I know the reds shoot fireworks at buildings and climb lampposts naked and all that, but I’m assuming that isn’t normal behaviour.

Feels a bit surreal to think we’re in a major international final for the first time in 55 years. Maybe once in a lifetime event for me.
lol lol lol

How desperate do you have to be to cling onto Engkand to try and see a trophy win.

You do nothing. You watch the game as a neutral and take in a cup final.

That's it.

No mate. People are intelligent enough to want the England football team to win because (a) They love football and (b) it’s their country and to see all the jingoistic hoo ha and misplaced patriotism for what it is. It is maddening to see people who usually despise football and it’s fans jumping on the bandwagon but they will be gone in a day or so.
And Football won’t.
Plenty of “Football is lovely again, pity about the beastly fans” floating about in the Tory press. Well, they despise us and I despise them, but it doesn’t stop me getting behind the team and they’ll have soon found something else to froth and lie about and all the hangers on will have gone back to tennis and sudoku. C’mon England.
It's a good defence and justification, but ultimately it's bogus.

Maybe if you were from Liverpool and you remembered the millions of times the England fans chanted of "I'd rather be a P*k* than a Scouse" you'd think differently.

There's no making any distinction between the 'football people' who follow England and the bandwagon jumpers...in fact, Ild rather have the bandwagon jumpers.

Pretty bad - that happen at England games or away fans visiting the city for league matches?
